Manupulating Item objects

Working on a mod taking that converts an item into another value, but I need a to know how the item objects work so I can make a converter system.
There doesn't seem to be anything in the item objects section just need to know the functions in place so I don't have to reinvent the wheel

I think you'll need to be more specific about what knowledge you'd like to gain (and your motivation for gaining it helps too but isn't enough) before we can possibly document the kind of thing you want. It's not clear to me what you need to know.

Like how to add custom flags. Also interested in know more about how to manipulate player or clan influence. I'm basically trying to make a mod that adds churches/mosques/temples to the game where their output would be a custom item that then causes an increase in influence for the player adds 10 capital to the workshop and then deletes itself. I already know how to add workshops I just need to figure out the rest.
