Username generator

In order to create a faster interaction with the app I thougth if an username generator could be implemented so that creating accounts on new pages would be faster. The generation could be like a combination of passphrase with numbers and simbols options so that random data is used. Hope it comes true and people like the idea.

Very often, the Username is the mail address.
So I don’t think that the effort for development is in any reasonable proportion to the actual benefit.
But maybe I'm wrong 😉

Hi there, just my two cents coming here from bitwarden. I really enjoyed their integration with addy.io and other one-off mail address generation services, as well as the username generator. I used both frequently and saw not having to switch to another app to generate an address as a big quality of life feature.

The integration of these services would be promotional and would involve adding an internet connection to an application that must remain local.

Fair and interesting point, I do agree. Other goals and feature set.
Though I'd like to point out that KeePassXC for example already implemented an optional internet connection for downloading favicons, which is arguably more cosmetic than quality of life, but your point of course is still valid.
