Contribution Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in this repository! Here’s how we approach repository maintenance:

Maintainer-Led Updates

This repository is actively maintained by our team, and we periodically release new features and improvements as needed.

Forking Encouraged

We encourage you to fork this repository and adapt it for your own needs! Whether you’re building on top of the code or using it as a reference, feel free to make it your own.

External Contributions

While we’re excited to see how you use the project, we’re not currently accepting direct contributions (such as pull requests or issues). If you have an idea or enhancement, we recommend incorporating it into your own fork.

Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO)

Although we do not accept contributions, our legal policy requires that any unsolicited code submissions (e.g., pull requests), it must comply with the Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO).

  • We require that all contributors "sign-off" on their commits. This certifies that the contribution is your original work, or you have rights to submit it under the same license, or a compatible license.

    • Any contribution which contains commits that are not Signed-Off will not be accepted.

  • To sign off on a commit you simply use the --signoff (or -s) option when committing your changes:

    $ git commit -s -m "Add cool feature."

    This will append the following to your commit message:

    Signed-off-by: Your Name <your@email.com>
