You can delete the db and start over with the default admin admin pass.
Technically you should be also able to restart the app with custom enforced
user setting but deleting the db is easier

I logged in, everything was fine. A few days passed, I'm now trying to
login again but it says I'm entering the wrong password (although I'm sure
I'm not!)
Is there any way to recover/change the password? Or am I now locked out
forever?
Thanks

Yeah 130 k is not that many photos, but the app is not optimized for low
latency storage.
An SQL editor is one of the easiest to delete the user and relog with the
default admin admin.
Or check the manpage on the GitHub repo and look for enforced user.

I have around 130.000 pictures hosted on a NAS. They're not hosted on the
same server as piGallery2 so I guess this slows down the procedure a lot.

Itt depends how you set that up. It can be on a docker volume or a folder
that you set up.
I would assume it's docker volume.
Please read about docker on their page.

Thanks, I'll try to delete the user first... but where is the database
located? I'm using the Docker Compose version of piGallery2
Thanks
