At the moment there is no dedicated page explaining Cardano's fee structure. Needed: how transaction fees are determined, minimum UTXO requirements, comparison to account-based fee models, determinism and practical guidance on what users can expect to pay.

May a good opportunity to discuss fee markets and possibly also maximal extractable value.

I'm sharing this as a proposal, not a final spec. If you think this page should be structured differently, cover additional topics, or be deprioritized in favor of something else, please let me know.

@katomm, draft PR #717 is up. It covers everything you listed in the issue: how the fee is calculated, the minimum ada (min-UTxO) requirement, the eUTXO vs account-based comparison, determinism and predictability, and what users can actually expect to pay. I also picked up your two "may discuss" hints and added a short Fee markets and MEV section, plus three glossary entries linked inline (transaction-fee, min-ada, mev).

The figures come from CIP-9/28/55 and the cardano-ledger spec, and I verified them against live mainnet values rather than copying from an older source. The page is in the "Learn" navbar.

You framed this as a proposal, not a final spec, so I'd like your take on the structure. Mainly: does the fee-markets/MEV section belong on this page, or should it get its own? Happy to split it out before it goes for review.
