To reset please click Disconnect and reset in the footer, this will reset all your saved filters and you have to reconnect to your cluster.
Proceed and open an issue if your problem persists.

Description
REST operation got aborted when you switch menu

Steps To Reproduce
List the steps to reproduce your problem:

1. Open elasticvue
2. Click on rest menu
3. Enter your long running REST operation (in my case, /_reindex?pretty)
4. when the operation running, switch to other menu.

Environment (please include the following information):

• Elasticsearch version: 7.16.2
• Operating system: Windows 11
• Browser + version: Chrome 144.0.7559.110
• Elasticvue version: 1.12.0
• Run using browser extension

Additional context
I think, we can solve this by having some wording or warning sign that if switch menu will abort current REST processing. and asked user to open new tab

Can you please explain your issue in more detail? I am not sure if i understand you correctly.

@cars10 , so in my case if any RESTful operation to the elastic cluster that still going on, and user change the menu, the Request will be aborted.

in my case, reindex operation (which took about 10 mins), and user switch to other menu the request will be cancelled, and the reindex will be partially done.

is this explanation make sense ?
