Evaluating Object Storage Alternatives Due to MinIO Maintenance-Only State #281

Description

@NurHenry

Hi all,

OpenCTI currently relies on MinIO as its S3-compatible object storage. However, MinIO has announced that the open-source project is now in a maintenance-only state and is no longer accepting new contributions.

MinIO has officially stated:

This project is currently under maintenance and is not accepting new changes.
The codebase is in a maintenance-only state.
No new features, enhancements, or pull requests will be accepted.
Critical security fixes may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Existing issues and pull requests will not be actively reviewed.
Community support continues on a best-effort basis through Slack.
For enterprise support and actively maintained versions, please see MinIO AIStor.

Given this situation, I would like to ask whether there is already a migration or replacement plan for MinIO in the context of the OpenCTI Helmchart, or if assistance is needed in evaluating alternative solutions.

Given the current direction of the MinIO project, I believe it is important to start identifying a long-term alternative. With MinIO likely receiving only limited and infrequent security updates going forward, this could become a significant concern. Especially for organizations running OpenCTI in a business or production context where actively maintained and secure components are essential.
