Hint System

Hi, this might be a stupid question, but what does the HINT system show? Specifically, it makes some triangles that move around as you solve puzzles, but i cannot figure out what thay mean.

Hello. The hint system indicates which lines (that is, rows or columns) contain squares that can be filled in or crossed out based on the clues for that line and based on what is already filled in (or crossed out) within that line. This can help guide you to which parts of the grid can be further solved.
