Mapping VST controls

That's probably a silly question but I can't figure out how to automate the parameters of a VST plugin: when adding an automation track, I can only choose from MIDI CC parameters. How can I map these CC to actual controls in the VST?

This is not implemented yet, but I guess this feature shouldn't be too complicated, will hopefully add it in the coming months. Thanks for bringing it up!
