Thanks, I will fix this soon. But beware, the profile transition not found error you have in some logs is because expected profile deps are not loaded. Are you sure all profiles are correctly installed ?

I ran just dpkg from the cloned repo's folder to install it. Is there anything else to be done to install it on Kubuntu 26.04?

Check the apparmor service status, they might be an issue somewhere.

Yes, I think the bug is in the apparmor version shipped by Ubuntu. See https://gitlab.com/apparmor/apparmor/-/work_items/659
