Password/Account Issues

Hi Stephen,

I don't think this is a problem with the integration per se, but I wanted to see if I was the only one having problems with their username/account being deleted. I've had to re-sign up from the Haven App a couple of times in the last few days and wasn't sure if I was alone in this interaction.

I had the same issue, my account was deleted after I integrated with this library.

Any update to this? My installer told me my account pinged their Haven server 4000 times which disabled my account. He of course heard this from their engineer.

It seems that this Haven Home Assiatant integration is pretty "noisy".

Anyone got any advise?

It should be logging directly to home-assistant.log. You can also increase the verbosity in your configuration.yaml by adding the following: logger: default: info logs: custom_components.haven: debug custom_components.haven.havenlighting: debug

Hmmm. I have file editor installed but can't seem to find that file. Besides reviewing that file, any particular reason why HA may be so noisy?

Could it have to do with my Unbound setup on Pihole?

The home assistant log is under settings -> system -> logs I don’t know; ChatGPT did all of the l work changing it from redux to the part 3 I sent you. If you have logs to share; I can ask ChatGPT to see if they can fix them (I seem to have some errors myself to ask GPT to fix).

Last logged: 11:44:38 AM

Failed to refresh groups: Received 429 Too Many Requests response

Same thing the Haven app shows when trying to login. The Haven tech told me the email releases in about 24 hours.

I think I've corrected it and now will do a better job respecting the 429 issues. - *HACS → Haven Lighting Part 3 → three dots → Update information* - *Redownload* - *Restart Home Assistant* - - to install the changes

Hey thanks so much! I'm just now learning about vibe coding. I put that original 429 error into GPT and it gave me a whole bunch of coding corrections to make in the locations.py file. I'm guessing you re-wrote the HACS script with that new info?

Pretty much. GPT set it up so it would back off when it got a 429. My guess I didn’t any of the issues you did because I only really have an all zone and nothing else. Fingers crossed.

That’s rough — losing accounts like that is the worst part of these systems.

Quick question: does this feel like login, or something different?

Been looking at a flow where accounts don’t break like this and access adjusts instead.
Curious if that would even make sense here.
