Build the Student Sprint Ecosystem

Main Challenge Question

How can technology help student communities learn better, collaborate more easily, or stay safer online?

Fixed Hackathon Missions

• AI/ML: Build an intelligent feature that helps students discover projects, get answers, or receive relevant learning support.
• Web Development: Build the public Sprint Command Center where participants can view challenges, projects, progress, and final showcase entries.
• App Development: Build a mobile Sprint Companion for tasks, checkpoints, reminders, and project progress.
• UI/UX: Design the complete journey from joining the sprint to submitting a project and viewing the showcase.
• Documentation / Open Source: Create the official contributor starter kit: README template, contribution guide, setup guide, and project submission template.
• Cybersecurity: Create one beginner-friendly, self-contained Mini CTF challenge for a fictional student portal. It must run only in a local lab, static demo, CTF environment, or intentionally vulnerable application. Deliverables include a playable challenge, one BPL{...} flag, challenge story, difficulty, hints, README setup guide, and organizer-only solution note. No real or unauthorized targets.

Each solo participant creates a separate public repository after kickoff. For teams, one person creates the repository and invites teammates as GitHub collaborators.
