A Chrome extension that add video controls for YouTube Shorts.
Add a control bar below videos from YouTube Shorts.
Keyboard shortcuts:
- Left/Right arrow keys to rewind/fast-forward the video by 5 seconds.
- Shift/Cmd + Up/Down arrow keys to increase/decrease the volume.
- "M" to mute/unmute the video.
- Spacebar to pause/resume the video.
- Always show controls: don't need to hover the video for the controls to appear.
- Hide title and channel: hide video info when not hovering the video.
- Control volume with Arrow Up/Down: allow you to control the volume with arrow keys without holding shift/cmd, it is optional, as many users use it to scroll between shorts.
- Disable infinite loop: disable video replay when it ends, instead it will just stop.
- Go to the Web Store page.
- Click on Add to Chrome.
- Then Add extension.
- Enjoy!
- Go to the releases page and download the zip file of a version that you prefer.
- Export the downloaded zip file to a preferred folder.
- Then go to your extensions page by typing
chrome://extensionsin the address bar and press Enter. - Enable the toggle Developer mode, typically found in the top-right corner.
- Click on Load unpacked button and choose the folder where you extracted the previously downloaded zip file.
- Done!
