BiasGuard+ is an innovative AI-powered platform designed to combat judicial corruption across Asia. It addresses systemic issues such as opaque judge assignments and a lack of accountability for judges. The platform automates judge assignments using anonymized case details and conflict-of-interest checks, ensuring fairness by eliminating human manipulation. Additionally, it mandates verifiable wealth disclosures for judges, making these reports publicly accessible and linked to case outcomes.
The technology stack includes a user-friendly React.js frontend and a Python/Flask backend, leveraging NLP and machine learning to analyze biases in judicial behavior. By providing an immutable audit trail and integrating cryptographic security, BiasGuard+ aims to restore public trust in legal systems, reduce bribery opportunities, and promote transparency. This project aligns with hackathon goals by utilizing accessible ICT tools to tackle corruption, ultimately fostering a movement towards open justice in Asia.
