An analysis of Moonshot AI's Kimi agent architecture (K2.5 model).
This is an analysis of Moonshot AI's Kimi agent architecture and source code. Kimi K2.5 is the underlying model; the agents at kimi.com/chat, kimi.com/agent, and specialized endpoints are different interfaces that use this model.
Proof of source: when this repo was shared on Reddit about a bug in the extracted code, Kimi publicly confirmed this was the production code being used. See the comment below. (fixed January 2026)
