Recruiting Volunteers – Mobile Systems Project

Context

This repository documents the work of the "Recruiting Volunteers" group within the MOBI project module. Our team focused on developing a user-centered solution to streamline the volunteer recruitment process. This repository encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements elicitation to prototype development and final user testing.

Project Structure

The repository is organized to provide a clear overview of our development process:

  • /01_Presentations: All project-related presentations.
  • /02_Prototype: Setup guide and access links for our Figma prototype.
  • /03_Requirements_Elicitation: Documentation of stakeholder analysis, including interview transcripts and consent forms.
  • /04_SmartCity_Materials: Contextual materials, problem analyses, and insights provided by the Smart City Team.
  • /05_Testing: Comprehensive documentation of our testing phase:
    • Feedback Forms & Test Guides: Templates and protocols used for user evaluations.
    • Consent Forms: Bilingual documentation (English/German).
    • Data Collection: Organized feedback from study participants.
    • Evaluation: Evaluation_user_tests.xlsx summarizing our findings and key metrics.

Project Deliverables

  • Prototype: Interactive Figma design.
  • Project Poster: Available as Poster.pdf.
  • Evaluation Report: Comprehensive summary of user testing results.

About

University project for recruiting volunteers for cultural events in Bamberg. Following a user-centered approach, we conducted interviews to define requirements and developed an interactive Figma prototype. The solution was usability tested to ensure it effectively streamlines the recruitment process. Developed as part of a Master's program.
