Apple Calendar: File > New Calendar Subscription, paste the URL, click Subscribe.
Google Calendar: Settings > Add calendar > From URL, paste the URL, click Add Calendar. Note: Google typically refreshes subscribed calendars only once every 24 hours.
Outlook: Add calendar > Subscribe from web, paste the URL, click Import.
Tip: swap https:// for webcal:// to let some apps add it in one click.
To import a static copy instead of subscribing, download fly-fishing-nz.ics and open it in your calendar app, or use File > Import.
All events are all-day and recur every year. They are marked transparent so they don't block time on your calendar.

Fishing seasons are set by the regulator and change from year to year. Treat this calendar as a planning aid, not a legal reference.
- Verify before you fish. Dates and rules vary by region and by individual water. Always check the current regulations for where you are fishing.
- Most of NZ is managed by Fish & Game New Zealand, which has 12 regions each publishing its own Anglers Notice.
- The Taupō District is managed separately by the Department of Conservation and needs its own licence — a Fish & Game licence is not valid there.
- A current fishing licence is required to fish for sports fish in New Zealand.
