BrightnessMirror 1.0.0

First release.

  • Brightness keys drive your external DDC/CI monitor — even with the laptop lid closed.
  • Smooth fade through every value, and a crisp, DPI-aware Windows 11-style indicator.
  • Both brightness keys at once → toggle the monitor's ambient Auto Brightness (Dell), preserving your Range Level and Auto Color (decoded from the VCP 0x66 bitfield).
  • Native ~17 KB .exe, no runtime dependencies. Per-user install, no admin required.

Install

Download BrightnessMirror-Setup-1.0.0.exe below and run it. Make sure DDC/CI is enabled in your monitor's on-screen menu.

Tested on a Huawei MateBook (clamshell) → Dell UltraSharp U2725QE over Thunderbolt.
